Project Overview
Umrah and Hajj Travels was developed as a complete redesign from scratch. The goal was to replace an outdated website with a fast, modern, and user-friendly platform. The new website helps users easily explore travel packages, understand what is included, and make bookings online. Along with a fresh design, the focus was on performance, smooth navigation, and easy content management for long-term use.

Problem
The previous website was outdated and did not meet modern user expectations. It had a slow loading speed, unclear navigation, and limited flexibility for managing travel packages. Users found it difficult to understand package details, and there was no proper online booking flow. Content updates required technical support, which made regular changes time-consuming and inefficient.
Solution
We rebuilt the entire platform from the ground up with a modern and scalable approach. Using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, we created a fast, clean, and responsive user interface. Sanity CMS was implemented to allow easy management of travel packages and content without developer dependency.
An all in one online booking system was added where packages include travel, accommodation, and services. We also integrated a secure contact form with SMTP to ensure reliable communication. The result is a smooth, high performance platform that is easy to manage and simple for users to book their journey.
Technology Stack Behind the Website
To build a modern, fast, and easy to manage travel booking platform, we selected technologies that focus on performance, flexibility, and long-term content control. Each tool was chosen to improve both the user booking experience and the admin content management workflow.
Sanity CMS
Sanity CMS was used as the headless content management system to manage travel packages, hotel details, travel information, and website content. It allows the admin team to update packages, pricing, and content in real time without developer support. This ensures quick updates and accurate information for users planning their journey.
Next.js
Next.js powers the frontend of the website, delivering fast page loads, smooth navigation, and strong SEO performance. Its server-side rendering and optimized routing help ensure a reliable experience across all devices, making it easy for users to browse packages, view details, and complete bookings efficiently.
Tailwind CSS
Tailwind CSS was used to design a clean, modern, and fully responsive interface. It enabled consistent styling across the website and helped build reusable UI components quickly. The result is a smooth and visually clear experience that works well on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
Package & Hotel Catalog
The booking catalog displays multiple travel packages with different hotels and available travel dates. Users can easily explore options and select a package that fits their schedule. Each hotel listing has a booking button that leads to a detailed page showing pricing, accommodation details, distance from Makkah and Madinah, and flight information. In the next step, users enter booking details such as the number of rooms, adults, and children. After completing the form, the booking is successfully submitted through a smooth and guided process.
Reusable & Responsive Components
We designed and optimized multiple components for the website, making them fully responsive and reusable across different pages. These components ensure a consistent user experience and smooth performance, whether users are browsing travel packages, hotel listings, or the booking flow.
